Dr. Obiodunukwe Emeka Augustine is the Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Director at Demyhealth Clinics & Genomic Medicine; where the main thrusts of his research, consulting and interests are in Genomic medicine, biomedicine, biotechnology and the molecular biology of reproduction.

He is an administrative and technical expert in the Nigerian healthcare industry with more than a decade’s experience in clinical medicine, reproductive medicine, public health, laboratory medicine and genomics.

Emeka Obiodunukwe has served in different capacities as a Clinician, Public health physician, Health insurance manager and Physician-scientist with organizations such as Reddington Multi-specialist hospital, Havana Hospital, Maayoith Healthcare HMO, WHO and Demyhealth clinics.

Dr. Emeka is a Clinician, administrator, entrepreneur and a physician-scientist. He holds diverse portfolios and different board level directorship appointments. He is the CEO of Genomic Technologies (Life science research and industry biotechnology), Demyhealth Consulting Ltd (Health advocacy, promotion & concierge medicine) and Demyhealth clinic & Genomic medicine (Clinical genomics and diagnostics). He received his education at University of Calabar medical school and the University of Warwick medical school, UK for his undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainings respectively.

Abdullahi, Nasiru MBBS, FWACP-Lab Med

Dr. Abdullahi Nasiru is a Consultant Clinical Microbiologist at Demyhealth Clinic and Genomic Medicine, where he oversees the clinical laboratory work.

He was previously a Senior Registrar in the department of Medical Microbiology, National Hospital Abuja with years of experience in general medicine, clinical microbiology, HIV/AIDS and other STIs management, as well as Quality Management Systems, and hospital infection prevention and control.

Dr Abdullahi has served in different capacities in various medical associations and is currently the Secretary of Nigerian Medical Association, FCT branch.  He is also the Secretary of the Ethics and Disciplinary committee of the NMA, FCT Abuja.

He received his education at the University of Ilorin medical school and bagged the Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians in the faculty of Laboratory Medicine. He is a member of the College of Nigerian Pathologists and an associate member of the Medical College of Pathologists of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Medical and Dental Consultants’ Association of Nigeria, FMC Birnin-Kebbi branch.

Izuegbunam Chinenye Lilian

Izuegbunam Chinenye Lilian is the Head of the Molecular Diagnostics and Research Unit at Demyhealth Clinic and Genomic Medicine/Genomic Technologies Limited; where she oversees the running of the molecular laboratory services.

She has excellent expertise in the field of Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Biotechnology and Biosciences Research Development. She has vast knowledge in a variety of high-level Molecular Biology techniques and methods in the field of recombinant DNA technology including isolation/extraction of nucleic acids, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Real Time PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, Colony PCR, Gene cloning and analysis of gene expression by Real Time PCR. 

Her knowledge also spans across Proteomics with excellent techniques in Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry. She has vast experience in the use of various software for biosimulations and web-based bioinformatics tools, like Blastp, Uniprot, 3D protein analysis and phylogenetic analysis.

Chinenye had her undergraduate education at Imo state university, Nigeria and her postgraduate training at Newcastle university, UK, where she graduated with a Distinction. She is a member of the Royal Society of Biology, London.

Head of Biomedical Engineering unit

Obiodunukwe, Ebuka F. B. Eng. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

Obiodunukwe Ebuka is the senior technical manager, biomedical engineer and Project Coordinator of our Biomolecular Engineering Department. He oversees the architectural and structural engineering design aspects of setting up molecular laboratories for Genomic Technologies Ltd/Demyhealth clinic and Genomic Medicine.

He has proven knowledge and skills in the technical aspects of setting up a Molecular Pathology laboratory. These stem from years of experience in handling molecular biology projects as well as previous roles in overseeing related structural projects in general metal fabrication, wood and glass work.

As a distinguished graduate of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, he is well rounded in projects and production management, materials selection, biomaterials engineering, technical drawing and design, welding and general metal fabrication.

He holds several joint venture partnerships and board-level directorship appointments in startups and existing businesses. He is a Director at WeldHome Fabrication Services, NutriHome Foods, and Demyhealth clinic & Genomic medicine.

Kei, Erebi S. MBBS, PGD

Dr Kei is a medical doctor with postgraduate training in HIV medicine and several years of experience in Infectious Diseases management especially in the area of Sexual & Reproductive health.

She is highly skilled in medical branding and has played important roles in brand positioning for various home-grown start-ups including Ivy Aspire Nigeria where she serves as Director.

She is currently the brand manager at Demyhealth clinics and Genomic medicine where she directs her passion towards helping the organisation develop modern, well defined strategies in the promotion of health products and services in the peculiar Nigerian setting.

She is also a resident doctor at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa and was appointed as a clinical fellow at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, United Kingdom.

Ochiobi, Chinenye A. Jude MBBCh, MPH.

Dr Ochiobi is a medical practitioner with sound experience in clinical medicine, public health practice and preventive health care. He has served in the capacity of a clinician in private clinical practice in Nigeria as well as a government health establishment; and emergency department of a district hospital with the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia.

Dr Ochiobi received his medical training from the prestigious University of Calabar, Cross Rivers State, Nigeria. He obtained a Masters in Public health (MPH, with concentration in Occupational and Environmental health) in the renowned Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, in the province of British Columbia, Canada. During his public health training, he was involved in workshops on workplace safety within the province of British Columbia and undertook various research activities on occupational health, specifically on work related musculoskeletal injuries.

In addition to his engagement in clinical and public health practice during his MPH training, Dr Ochiobi also engaged with the government of Abia State in the delivery of preventive health care services to rural communities in Abia State. He has also volunteered with a non-governmental organisation in the provision of free preventive care services to rural communities in Imo State, Nigeria.

Dr Ochiobi believes in lifelong learning and strives to render quality & selfless clinical, public health and preventive health care services to his immediate community and the international community at large.
